It's a nice hotel with cozy vibe near to market and railway station. All shops are nearby. It's an old hotel but maintened very well. All the staffs are polite and good. If you want any modifications in food just tell the chef and they'll delivered it in great way. But the entrance is quite shady. Google location show 50m away. It's location, is just beside of the flyover.

I have had the pleasure of staying at Palash Hotel twice, and on both occasions, the experience was nothing short of exceptional. The hotel reflects a fine balance of elegance, comfort, and professionalism, making every stay truly memorable. The location is extremely convenient, being situated very close to the railway station, which adds great value for travelers. The culinary experience is outstanding—the food is delicious, well-presented, and prepared with great attention to quality and taste. The hotel also offers beautiful decoration services, and I celebrated my anniversary here, which was arranged with remarkable care and sophistication. Every detail was thoughtfully managed, creating a warm and memorable celebration. The staff deserves special appreciation for their exceptional hospitality and cooperation. I would like to specifically mention Mr. Manish, Mr. Alam, Ms. Saraswati, and Mr. Dharmendra for their courteous, attentive, and highly professional service, which truly enhanced the overall experience. A particularly impressive aspect was that during my second visit, I was provided with the same room as before, reflecting the hotel’s excellent attention to guest comfort and personalized service. Overall, Palash Hotel delivers a truly luxurious and flawless experience. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone seeking comfort, quality, and refined hospitality, and I look forward to staying here again.

I must say, it is a good hotel — if not excellent — considering the location and the services provided. I booked my room for an overnight stay of about 7–8 hours. The check-in process was easy, the porter service was prompt, and the room was clean. There was hot water available for bathing, the room smelled pleasant, and self-service tea was provided with an electric kettle available. A few cons and areas for improvement: 1. Toiletries: These were missing. There was no toothbrush, toothpaste, razor (for men), lotion, or hand towel. Only one bath towel was provided. It would be better if the room included at least one or two hand towels or an extra bath towel. 2. Cleanliness: From a typical Indian perspective, it was acceptable. However, a foreign guest might notice some stains on the linens and a few broken fixtures in the room. A blow dryer would also be a nice addition. 3. Complimentary Tea: It would be great if green tea sachets were included among the complimentary options. Overall, for the price (around ₹2,500 including GST for a deluxe room), it is quite reasonable and comfortable. Thank you for the pleasant stay! As for room service, there was a ₹15 charge for delivering food to the room, but the food was tasty.

Review of Hotel Emerald, Ranchi (Stay: 21–22 February 2026) I checked in at 7:00 PM on 21st February 2026 and checked out at 7:00 AM on 22nd February 2026. The booking was made through the Agoda platform. Unfortunately, my experience at Hotel Emerald was disappointing and far below expected standards. The deluxe room initially allotted to me on the first floor appeared to be one of the oldest rooms on the property. It had visible wall seepage issues and, surprisingly, no intercom facility. For any basic requirement, there was no direct way to reach the front desk from the room — a fundamental hospitality shortcoming. Upon raising the concern, the room was changed. However, after shifting and inspecting the bathroom, I discovered that the geyser was not functioning. This required another room change. While the staff did respond to my requests, the repeated need for relocation reflected a lack of proper room inspection and quality checks before guest check-in. In the final room provided, essential facilities were functional, but there was still significant seepage in the bathroom area. By the time everything was sorted, it was already around 10:30 PM. Instead of resting after a long day, I spent considerable time dealing with room issues. I have stayed at multiple properties across different hotel chains, and this experience felt as though basic quality control processes were missing. It appeared that rooms were being allocated without proper maintenance checks, leaving guests to discover problems after check-in. While I did not take photographs, the inconvenience and disturbance during a short overnight stay were significant. I hope the management takes this feedback seriously and implements stricter room readiness inspections to avoid similar experiences for future guests. Overall, the stay did not meet expectations due to maintenance lapses and inadequate pre-check quality checks.

Extremely Disappointing Experience – Not At All Recommended for Marriage Events Our experience at Shivani International Hotel, booked for a marriage event, was extremely disappointing and stressful. The hotel management displayed a complete lack of professionalism and basic hospitality standards. To begin with, the hotel’s systems were extremely unorganised. Despite confirmed bookings made well in advance, we were denied allotted rooms on the actual day of the event, causing huge inconvenience and embarrassment in front of guests. This is unacceptable, especially during an important family function like a wedding. The quality of service delivery was very poor. Requests were ignored or handled after repeated follow-ups. The managing staff led by Deepak behaved rudely and arrogantly, instead of being helpful or solution-oriented. Rather than resolving issues, they appeared defensive and indifferent. Mr. Deepak had no qualities of being a manager. The serving staff was clearly unprofessional and untrained. There was no coordination, basic etiquette was missing, and service was slow and careless. Overall hospitality standards were far below what one would expect from a hotel hosting marriage events. A wedding is a once-in-a-lifetime occasion, and the last thing any family deserves is chaos and mismanagement. Unfortunately, Shivani International Hotel failed on almost every front. Strongly not recommended for weddings or any important events. Please think twice before booking this property.

According to the property’s policy, we were supposed to check in around 2 PM. However, due to our travel schedule, we arrived and checked in at around 12:15 AM—a change I had already communicated to the hotel via email. Upon arrival, the receptionist mentioned that we were given executive rooms, but when we went up, we found the rooms in a filthy state. After bringing this to their attention, they moved us to a different room. My group managed to settle into two rooms, but then the air conditioner in my room wasn’t working. We were forced to change rooms again and, unbelievably, they took us back to one of the same dirty rooms we initially rejected. They claimed it had been cleaned at 1:30 AM, but it was far from acceptable. The entire property is poorly maintained. Rooms are not cleaned properly, the bathrooms are dirty, and using the toilet feels like standing in a sewage system due to the foul smell. The linens were not fresh either—what were supposed to be white sheets were so old and stained they appeared brown. This was, by far, the worst hotel experience I’ve ever had. I would not recommend this place to anyone, not even to my worst enemies. Avoid at all costs!
