1 AverageHonest experience of stay of 4 days- pros- very near to cc1, city centre metro cons- the lifts dont work properly. the building is shared with ambrosia bar&restaurant which is not safe if u are staying alone. room services are not upto the level. moreover this hotel has few rooms only. the washrooms are below average.Shreyashi Saha, 22 Feb

3 GoodRoom was clean though not spacious enough beyond 2 persons. washroom is small and lacks exhaust fan. no proper place to keep soaps/ shampoo etc. taps / faucets not well maintained. property is little claustrophobic. staff and front office people are very good and helpful. breakfast should be ordered separately and quality of complimentary breakfast may not be to one’s liking though there is. restaurant and a bar in the property. better to order food ala carte location 2 minutes from city center 1 and next to 6 ballygunge place restaurant. overall good for short stays and price as it is better than many other property in this price range for its service location and overall room cleanliness. fab brands need to lookup with their properties with proper knowledgeable marketing team. these days they just co brand without bringing in professional services thus giving the guests expected misgiving. photoshop of the properties won’t help for long.Abhijit Sen, 16 Nov

1 AverageThis hotel is terrible, it's super old and the staff are barely trying to update it, and failing miserably. fabhotels really shouldn't have these gross hotels that lack basic amenities or quality. the elevator is an old, smelly grill type. the room and bathroom doors are broken and filthy. all the bathroom fixtures are junk and super low quality. seriously, just spend a little more and stay at de sovrani instead of coming here.Mohit Kumar, 21 Nov

3 GoodI would rate this hotel as average... not great, not terrible. the room is spacious and equipped with tables and chair. there's also cupboard and kettle. however, the air conditioner only had a single setting-the temperature couldn't be changed. the room was dusty and there was a musty smell coming from somewhere. the bathroom was decent, but the hot water and shower was not working. but my biggest issue was the location. geographically, it is situated in a decent location in salt lake city. but the hotel buliding also hosted a bar and beverage outlet. i feel like this makes it unsuitable for family bookings. also, the building itself is very old; the elevator seems to be straight from the colonial times. furthermore, the breakfast was only served after 8.30, which is a deal breaker for me as i had a train to catch in the morning. and i feel like a lot of people would appreciate an earlier breakfast time. the check-in and check-out was smooth, and i have no complaints about the booking process. fabhotel usually gives great rooms at low prices, but this time, i felt like they only gave me my money's worth.Ajay James, 23 May
