    Overall rating: 1/5 stars we were thoroughly disappointed with our stay at fabhotel heritage ruby in kolkata from december 10th to 11th. we had traveled to the city to attend the bryan adams concert and were looking forward to exploring the city for a couple of days after that. unfortunately, our hotel experience was a major letdown. the room allotted to us was a disaster. it was tiny, with damp walls and a general sense of neglect. the ac remote didn't work, and the window had no blinds, only flimsy curtains that offered little privacy. to make matters worse, the fan was non-functional. we felt like we were stuck in a dingy, poorly maintained box. despite our repeated complaints, the hotel staff seemed completely uninterested in addressing our concerns. they sent someone to check the issues, but when they couldn't fix them, they simply shrugged it off and told us that the fan was "non-repairable." no offer to change our room or provide any alternative solution was made. the hotel's services were equally unimpressive. the reception area was chaotic, and the staff were slow and unhelpful. we waited for over 30 minutes to check in, and the staff seemed more interested in chatting with each other than attending to our needs. to add to our frustration, we paid around ₹1500 for a two-seater room for one night, which we thought was a reasonable price point. however, considering the subpar room quality, pathetic service, and overall dismal experience, we felt utterly cheated. the final insult was during checkout, when we asked the staff to hurry up, and they had the audacity to lecture us on time management. it was a stunning display of incompetence and customer indifference. overall, our experience at fabhotel heritage ruby was a disaster. we would not recommend this hotel to anyone and would advise others to avoid it at all costs. the hotel's management needs to take serious steps to address the issues with their rooms and services, or risk losing customers altogether.

    We were very pleased with our recent stay in the hotel room. the accommodations were clean and well-maintained, offering a comfortable and relaxing environment. the amenities provided exceeded our expectations, contributing to a truly enjoyable experience. we especially appreciated the quiet atmosphere, which allowed for a restful night's sleep. overall, it was a delightful stay that we would happily recommend to others.

    The location of the hotel is quite good – not too much on the main road, yet not tucked away too far inside either. it’s just right if you’re looking for a stay near acropolis mall. the staff members are decent and well-behaved, and the room size and facilities are reasonable for the price point. the washrooms were clean, which was a relief. the room lighting, ac, and tv were also fine and functional. however, the major issue lies with cleanliness of the bedding. the bedsheets were not very clean, though somewhat manageable, but the blankets were in really bad condition with noticeable stains. when i asked the bellboy to change my blanket, he mentioned that even if he replaced it, the next one would likely be in a worse condition because they don’t have better blankets available. that is very concerning, because this is about the most basic hygiene standard a hotel must maintain. not having coffee, tea, or breakfast services is something you can make peace with, but compromising on clean sheets and blankets is not acceptable. if the management addresses the hygiene issue seriously, the stay would be much more comfortable. otherwise, it was a decent experience overall.

    I booked this hotel for 3 nights at oyo. after booking and paying the entire booking amount i personally called the hotel to reconfirm my booking.they acknowledged my booking.but, when i reached the hotel with all my luggage, they started saying that they can't offer a room at the oyo price rate and asked double the booking amount in cash.when i refused they denied check in and started behaving very rudely.(especially a guy name rajesh at the reception). i called oyo customer care but after keeping on hold for over 1 hour at last their final resolution was to simply refunding me the paid amount. they won't bother about the harassment and the mental agony faced by the guest. the hotel's modus operandi is- 1. listing the hotel at the top page of oyo app at a very decent rate.once guest arrive after a long tiring journey and with family and luggage,they will take advantage of the situation and seek additional amount from the guest. 2. they insist on paying the additional amount in cash so that they can evade the tax. oyo should immediately delist such hotels from its app and also impose heavy fine for harassing the guest with unethical business practices. (if oyo need any material evidence i can provide the recordings of the conversations.)

    1)nice location 2)reasonable price 3)staff behavior is very good 4)well decorated and hygienic rooms 5)they have inhouse kitchen and foods taste is very good ..... here , i celebrated my birthday and it was an unforgettable experience. the room was beautifully decorated with balloons , candles and roses . i just love the personalized touch they added to the celebration. hotel heritage is highly recommended for a special occasions.

    One of the worst experiences i’ve ever had at a hotel. despite having a confirmed booking, we were unnecessarily made to wait without any proper explanation. what made the situation far worse was the behavior of the lady at the reception — she was extremely rude, arrogant, and completely unprofessional. instead of assisting us with courtesy, her tone was dismissive and disrespectful, which made us feel harassed rather than welcomed. in a hospitality business, basic manners and respect towards guests should be the minimum standard, but unfortunately, this hotel failed miserably. such behavior is unacceptable and shows a serious lack of training and accountability. i would strongly advise others to avoid this property if you are expecting even a basic level of professionalism and service. management needs to take strict action against such behavior and seriously reconsider how they handle guests.

    Pathetic! the service is bad. the bedsheets and blankets are not cleaned properly. they don’t even give complimentary water bottles. who does that! rates are reasonable but the management is extremely bad. they should hire some educated staff and make them understand the very basics of hospitality. hotel khol liya, chalana nahi aata. why the hell are you guys in the hospitality industry if you don’t know how to give your customers a good stay experience. giving the reason that towel is not available because of heavy rain. and saying we only give one towel in a double occupancy room. god! just have some sense. pathetic losers!

    The rooms of this hotel are good but you cannot meet any friend here. if your friend comes from outside to meet you, he will not be given entry. there is no arrangement for your driver. the staff also talks very rudely. the night rate is different and the day rate is different because couples come here during the day and pay for 2 hours. this is situated in a good colony, yet illegal business is done in this hotel. please avoid coming to this hotel.
