Worst! dont come with family!
if u r looking for anything comfort, luxury or cleanliness this is nt for you
moreover the pictures dont match the actual rooms
the bar at the 5th floor plays loud music enough loud to keep u awake the whole night even on a weekday
we are checking out first thing in the morning
the receptionist refuses to refund for the 2 nights we r nt goin to continue here.

1 star – worst check-in experience ever | highly unprofessional & intimidating staff
i had one of the worst hotel experiences of my life at fabhotel lake side view, topsia between 9th to 13th july — and as a hotelier with over 25 years in the hospitality industry, i’ve never witnessed such unprofessionalism and outright rude, intimidating behavior.
despite having paid in full, well in advance, the front desk staff hesitated to hand over the room upon arrival at 9:00 pm — which is well past standard check-in time. initially, we were given a room that was unclean and clearly not ready. after waiting for an entire hour, the counter staff admitted they had already allotted our confirmed room to someone else. i witnessed them repeatedly call the person occupying our room, asking them to vacate it asap.
i reached out to the fab helpline twice, only to be met with a confusing and broken ivr system. finally, a customer care executive assured me that our room was indeed confirmed and we only needed to collect the keys from the reception. she even called the hotel directly to confirm — only for the hotel staff to shamelessly deny the whole situation.
when i confronted the staff, they suddenly handed me a different room key — something they could’ve done an hour earlier. but what followed next was completely unacceptable:
the receptionist turned aggressive, warning me in a threatening tone, “this is kolkata, you can do whatever you want. jo ukhaadna hai ukhaad lo, koi farak nahi padta.”
this kind of rowdy street-level intimidation is beyond disgraceful, especially in the hospitality industry.
shocking. unprofessional. unsafe.
if this is the level of service and behavior fab allows under its brand name, it seriously raises concerns about the quality control and accountability within their network.
stay away from this hotel if you value your time, safety, and basic hospitality standards.

Rooms were small but okay. bedsheets were not cleaned and also those were torn bedsheets. there was no brackets to hang your clothes in the cupboards. there is no car parking available, you need to park the cars on the streets. the most horrible thing about this hotel is the staffs and management. the behaviour of the receptionists were very rude. i had booked two deluxe rooms and paid it online. when we reach there, one of the receptionist told us only one room is available so he can not give two deluxe rooms and asked us to upgrade to super deluxe room by paying extra 1000/- bucks. for which i obviously asked why i have to pay extra when the fault is from their end that two rooms were not available and suddenly one more receptionist came there and argued very aggressively and told us that he will give two deluxe rooms without ac and said he wouldn’t care what we do which without the ac even though we have already paid for the ac rooms. that was very rude and embarrassing as few other guests were sitting in the lobby and were looking at us. then we agreed to pay extra for for one super deluxe room as we had no options left. fun fact : there is no difference between deluxe rooms and super deluxe rooms. i have stayed in a lot of hotels and home stays but never experienced such behaviour from hotel management. the only good thing about this hotel is the location.

Sharing the review for folks who would be thinking to stay at this location. this hotel is the worst place in ever stay. the rooms are super dirty, staff is extreme rude ready to get into a fight. they have tv, wifi and ac which does not function. they have posted beautiful and appealing pictures of the hotel but when you enter the room the scene is different. no cleaning or room service is available. they were charging higher rates on mrp for a water bottle. and while coming from the stair case observed the are re filling the used bottle with tap water & sealing with fevi qvik. if i would get an option will give negative rating. i would recommend guest to immediately check out from the hotel and file a complain in consumer court. the owner is fooling all their guests. and their are few good reviews from some of the customers those are related to owner. sooner or later shameless owner will reply to my review stating stating we will work on the feedback.

Three months ago, i booked a stay at a fabhotel, looking forward to a hassle-free experience. however, when we arrived at the hotel, we were shocked to be informed that our reservation had been canceled without any prior notice. despite having confirmed the booking well in advance, we were left stranded with no room available.
to make matters worse, when we reached out to fabhotel's customer service for help, they were unresponsive and offered no assistance to resolve the issue. their lack of support only added to our frustration and disappointment.
i would strongly advise anyone considering fabhotel to think twice before booking with them. they do not seem reliable, and their poor customer service makes it difficult to trust them with travel plans. save yourself the trouble and avoid booking with fabhotel, as their practices and support are far from trustworthy.

The location and service is very satisfactory. the staff were very friendly.
i would definitely refer this hotel to everyone. which is near by science city (walkable distance from hotel).
one thing that could be improved is the facilities inside the rooms. in some rooms the bed sheets had stain and remotes are not working properly. in couple of rooms the ac had some issues like water leakage. if these things are taken care, then it would be even better.
