During my stay from 9th to 13th july, 2025, my experience at the hotel was far from satisfactory. the reception staff were unhelpful, impolite, and at times outright rude. their attitude gave the impression that guest comfort was not a priority.
the condition of the rooms was also unacceptable. the mattress, pillow covers, and bedsheets were not properly cleaned, and overall room hygiene was lacking. basic room services were either delayed or completely unavailable.
adding to the inconvenience, the restaurant "karim" operates on the ground floor and shares the same entrance as the hotel. during lunch and dinner hours, the lobby becomes overcrowded with restaurant visitors, leaving hotel guests standing outside on the pavement. this not only creates discomfort but also raises serious concerns about guest privacy and convenience.
if the management is genuinely concerned about maintaining the hotel’s reputation, immediate attention and corrective action are essential.

Curtains inside bathroom as well as on windows are too much dirty, room floors are too much sticky and hair are all over the floor means no proper cleaning, no toilet paper are available here, bed sheets are too dirty and unorganized manner. i will suggest you, if anyone go to stay there, without proper inquiry don't book online.
but one thing is absolutely good, that was staff, so humble, kind and cooperative.

Review: very disappointed with service – would not recommend
i had a very disappointing experience at this hotel. the receptionist was extremely unprofessional and unhelpful, showing a bad attitude from the moment we arrived. despite having a confirmed booking, they failed to provide the room we reserved, which caused unnecessary stress and delays.
additionally, the hotel advertised breakfast included, but it was not served on time. we had to leave without eating, which was very frustrating, especially since we planned our day based on their promised schedule.
overall, the lack of basic hospitality and poor customer service made for a very unpleasant stay. i would not recommend this hotel to anyone looking for reliable service and respectful treatment.

No dental kits, no fridge, no lockers, open bathroom windows with no glasses, untidy smelly rooms and bed sheets. you’ll keep scratching the moment you’ll lie down on the bed. except location nothing is good in this hotel. you’ll see hotel staff lying down on the sofas in the lobby. shady hotel. don’t book

The rooms were very basic. no amenities like bathroom floor mat, hand towel, hand washing soap, toilet paper were available. we took the option of complementary breakfast. we got half filled glass of juice along with half cooked maggie. the coffee served was awful. at night you could hear the people walking through the hallway. the ac was making a lot of noise when turned on. the sofa cum chair was very dirty and had some stains on it. if you looked out of your window, you could see people bathing right infront.
the location was good. staff were well behaved. overall an ok type of stay.
at the reception, they ask for marriage certificate for checkin. i have checked into so many hotels with my wife and this was the first time had a reception guy asking for a marriage certificate for checkin. although he agreed to allow us in when we showed him our marriage pic.

Worst experience of any hotel i booked in my life of this range.
poor service
rude and arrogant reception
anyone can see you while bath, no maintenance
no tea and coffee kit in rooms
no soap gel for wash basin
outsider food not available
black and dirty roof of toilets
noisy ac no service
dirty and unwashed glasses in room.
open wires which is easy to be touch by kid or adults.
no parking
always municipal trucks stand in front of door.
you will get loud sound 5 times a day due to religious place.
i took pictures for all above points as evidenced, i complained about it and arrogant receptionist said “what can we do kisi ne tod diya hoga”
how irresponsible people can be.
they have some good rating not sure why but really bad in real.
next day i book 60% lower budget hotel even that was better than this.

So, i have booked 02 rooms for 03 nights and was travelling with my parents. booked the rooms through booking.com with my credit card. on the day of our arrival, we reached kolkata airport at 11:00 am. then reached the hotel at 12 pm. upon reaching the hotel we found that our booking was cancelled and they have no rooms. moreover they deducted service fee of rs. 1800/- from my credit card. me and my parents having no indian ph number, no internet and nothing with luggages had to leave the place and found a doggy hotel to stay that night. then change it the next day to a better one.
i wonder such scams are happening here often and no one is solving it. i will never visit this place nor recommend anyone. also i will avoid booking.com.
wish i could sue them for my trouble.
