FabHotel Saltlake Palace

I had a very disappointing experience during my recent stay, which i had booked specifically for my wife’s norcet exam scheduled on the morning of april 12th, 2025. we checked in on the evening of april 11th around 7:30 pm. after reaching the hotel, we spent about 30 minutes informing our parents and relatives of our safe arrival. later, when we removed the blanket, we were shocked to find multiple dirty spots and a large yellow patch on the bedsheet. i immediately called the receptionist to request a change, but instead of addressing the issue politely, he rudely questioned why i hadn’t reported it earlier. when he came to the room, he dismissed the stains as the laundry person’s fault and not the hotel's responsibility. even when we requested a new bedsheet, he casually said he would check if any extra ones were available, and if not, we would have no choice but to sleep on the dirty bed. eventually, he brought another bedsheet, but that too was stained. when we pointed it out, he told us, “white bedsheets will not always remain white,” implying that we shouldn’t expect cleanliness. his behavior was extremely unprofessional, as if we were staying free of cost. the entire experience was stressful, especially considering the importance of the next day for my wife. this is not the kind of service i’ve ever experienced at fab hotels before. very disappointing and disheartening.

I hadn't had a good experience staying there. rooms were very dirty.staffs were very unprofessional and slow.the location of the hotel is very confusing. all the problem after paying rs3000 for 2 days. only positive thing was the ac was working. even geyser was not in working condition. overall if possible blindly reject this hotel as there are better ones in that area.

There is no hotel in the name of 'saltlake palace'. outside the board the hotel name was written as 'the olive'. no logo of fab even inside the room. walls of the room were full of stains. toilet was too unclean. walls were full of dirt. exaust fan was not working. water outlet in toilet was partially draining the water. so, there is a water logging in the toilet. no toiletries. water was dripping from the ac. only two bulbs in the room from one switch were working; no night lamp. regulator of the fan was partially in working condition. there was no mosquito repellent. even after several request they haven't provide the mosquito repellent. i am really astonished how the 'fab' allowed such a awful hotel to enlist in their site. i stayed in room no 103 (delux room) for two days (23rd to 25th july 2024).

It was extremely bad. i just stayed one night and checked out the next morning. i had booked for 3 nights but i know how i stay just for a night. in the middle of night, i booked another hotel and then checked out next morning. the staff is not responsive, towels are not clean, and rooms are not maintained at all. i had booked a room for 2 guests but when i asked for another towel, they said as per our policy we give only one towel per room. i said, alright give me an extra towel early next morning as i have an official work, response is we cannot give any more towels until 10 am. the level of difficulty and stress i had to endure in this trip, i cannot explain that. such a bad response from the management. how does fab hotel not focus on all these things. i had to pay a huge amount for another hotel.
