Horrible experience with this hotel
i visited pune to attend a cyber security event and i booked fabhotel only because it was the nearest option.
i made the booking for 3 days. p.s. i am attaching the hotel invoice.
on the day of arrival, my flight got delayed and i reached the hotel at around 12 am in the night.
the attendant checked me in and took the entire payment.
the horror story started when i went to my room. the room was full of small cockroaches. they were all over the place including at bed.
there was no water in the sink and there was a cigarette bud in the pot.
when i informed the attendant about the cockroaches, he said it couldn't be the case as they had done pest control 6 months ago only
then i took him to the room and when he saw the cockroaches himself, he said i can see other rooms.
he showed me 10 rooms then and it was the same with every room. this is the first time in my lifetime i have seen hotel rooms in this condition.
i immediately decided not to stay and booked another hotel. now, the mistake i made was i did not take photographs of the room or make any video.the attendant told me that if i cancel the room before 9 am tomorrow then i will get the full refund.
the next morning around 7.30 am i called fabhotel's call centre, one guy took all the details and said that they had noted my side of the story. our ground staff will now visit the hotel and talk to the hotel staff to validate this.this will take some time and they will call me positively before 9 am.
i went to the event. i did not get any call. in the event, there were internet jammers and network issues, so i could not call the entire day.
in the evening when i came back and again called their call centre, i met a rude guy.he asked me to share the pics.
when i asked have your ground staff visited the hotel. he said - yes they visited and there is no such problem.
and when i said - did you try to contact me in the entire day to communicate this? to which he did not reply and said we can't do anything now. at most, i could try to refund for the remaining nights that's 1 and that was also the guarantee.
the rooms were the worst and the customer support was worse than worst.
also, it was written free breakfast but attendant said they do not have any kitchen.
i have a horrible experience with fabhotels and now it's up to you to use your own judgement to book this hotel.

There was a frog in my room.
don't fall for the good reviews, they are either paid or by the owner's friends or family.
i checked in, got a room, there were moths and cockroaches outside my room, i was like fine. i went inside, same the room had some alive some dead imsects, the bathroom wasn't even flushed and when i tried the flush didn't work, the staff didn't clean the room before handing it to me. the floor was smelling like garbage, literally garbage bag smell. they say breakfast included to lure you in but the manager told me breakfast service had been canceled forever. i found a frog beneath my bed.
the pillows smelled like sweat, clearly hadn't been washed. had to check out within 45 mins of checking in.
not recommended at all.

Minor repairs will make the hotel a good choice. repairing toilet flush, tv remote and intercom facility required. ac and geeser were working perfectly. pest control is required. no food and beverage option is available, although it is showing during booking time.

A little maintenance to the facilities will have a great impact on the overall quality of stay. like repairing of toilet flush, tv remote and intercom etc.
ac and geeser were in good condition. staffs are polite and good.

Good:
1. the location was convenient to me as i was in pune for a training session at symbiosis university to which this hotel is close.
2. the staff were very polite and tried their best to smooth over the horrible experience i had here.
bad:
this property is horrible! i had high expectations from this place after a wonderful stay at a fabhotels property in bangalore. but all i received was disappointment!
*the room was crawling with cockroaches.
*room smelt stale.
*bird nests on the window sill.
*blood stains on the mattress and no fresh bedsheets/pillowcases
*the mattress had protruding springs that made lying down painful.
*shower not working.
*flush cistern not filling
*frequent powercuts
there's nothing royal about this property!

Reached hotel on 26th 0500. check in to room no. 301. room bedsheet and pillow cover was old. dirt and hair was on. curtain was full of dust, toilet flush was not working. health faucet was leaking contributing to water wastage. towel was missing. provided one bathroom soap amd 1 bottle mineral water. after complainig to fabhotel costumer care they provided pillow cover and bedsheet. breakfast poha with tea was good. 2nd day breakfast aalo poratta with curd and tea was also good. ac was fine. on final day i asked for an extension till 1300 they denied, told me the hotel is full. after calling fabhotel headoffice they extended till 1300. the hotel don't have lift, but staff was polite and transferred luggage.
